Shopping on Company Time

November 27, 2007

I was driving down the road yesterday and heard a statistic that 54% of Americans now shop online for their holiday gifts.  Not only that, but the majority of them were doing it yesterday at work on the boss’ dime.  If you are one of those out there, you are not alone.

I can’t say I’m completely innocent here. While looking online for Ben 10 and The Wiggles merchandise at home is one thing, it’s easy to browse over for just a few minutes while on the job. Especially since stores have made the checkout system so quick and efficient. It’s no wonder that more and more people are choosing to shop online. It’s a trend that will only continue in the future.

Pets are Great

November 15, 2007

If you don’t have any pets you are missing out on one of the great joys in life. There is something about the companionship you can find in a pet that you can’t get from humans. Their loyalty and faithfulness is hard to find among anyone else. I love my pets. I have a golden retriever and some fish. When my doggie needs some lovin’, I take him to a place like this Indianapolis dog grooming resort. He loves it.

My fish get a different life. I always get to spoil them with new aquarium supplies and stuff for their tank. While you can’t cuddle with a fish, their grace and beauty give you a sense of peace and calm. I don’t know an aquarium owner who doesn’t love being an owner of fish.

So, what are you waiting for? Do some pet shopping!

A few of my favorite…

November 6, 2007

Here are a few of my favorite things: writing in my journal/blog, fall weather, the autumn colors, tailgating at a college football game, kneeboarding, wakeboarding, and water skiing, the majesty of the mountains, a beautiful sunset, a new cd, organic cosmetics and other makeup, a big Saturday morning breakfast, cheapy movie theaters, roller coasters that aren’t too scary, Portland photography, surround sound movies, a good book, caramel lattes, ice skating, and cuddling.  What about you?
