Christmas is almost here!

I’m such a big kid…I still lose sleep on Christmas Eve, and attempt at being surprised at all costs about what my gifts are.  Unfortunately, no one else in my family really cares about surprises, and they are terrible at hiding the gifts that they have bought.  I walk into a room-see a pile of things for me and sadly walk out, wishing that I hadn’t seen it all!! I mean-I’m still excited to recieve the present, but not as excited as if I were  going to be surprised!  Anyways, this Christmas break has been incredible-it’s given me the liberty to do so many things that I have been wanting to do for a long time! Work on artwork, make my own Christmas cards, sleep in late, and make breakfast for my friends this morning.  I will be heading over to my parent’s as of tomorrow and they have informed me of all their plans.  My least favorite plan involves going to one of their friends houses.  These friends have three kids-age 6, 3, and 4 months.  Kids recieving winnie the pooh bedding rather than ipods…you get the idea.  I’ll just chill and listen to the adults talk  usually.  Despite the fact that I am pretty close to the parent’s ages-there’s an obvious generational gap here!
